Here’s your AAA pass to a backstage look at selected projects. This is where you can see the sketches, notes, false starts and working-out behind some of my finished pieces.
Pattern Design: Children's Garden
Create a playful children’s pattern collection inspired by garden wildlife and small outdoor discoveries. Create a cohesive mini range suitable for gift wrap, stationery, packaging and small homeware, combining character-led motifs with floral, fruit and nature-based coordinates. The collection should feel bright, friendly and commercially adaptable, with a hand-drawn quality and enough variation to work across different products, scales and colourways.
Branding: The Malt Map
The Malt Map is a curated whisky travel platform that helps whisky fans plan their ideal journey around Scotland. Rather than relying on sponsored ads or generic “top ten” recommendations, it creates personalised itineraries based on each traveller’s taste preferences, favourite distilleries, travel dates, flight details, accommodation and wider interests.
The idea sits somewhere between a whisky guide, a travel planner and an editorial map of Scotland. It is designed for people who want a more thoughtful way to explore whisky regions - not just ticking off famous names, but discovering routes, places and experiences that genuinely suit them.
The brand avoids the usual whisky clichés of tartan, crests and heavy heritage styling. Instead, Malt Map feels modern, warm and destination-led, with a visual identity built around routes, landscapes, pagoda roofs, perspective lines and the idea of a journey unfolding across Scotland.
